Ewalt Family
Ford B. Ewalt, born 04 Apr 1901 Osceola, Iowa died Mar 1980 Phoenix, Ariz, stated in a letter dated Mar 8, 1971 that his father Ford Ewalt was born in Lenox, Iowa in 1876 and died at Long Beach, California in 1958. He also said that his grandfather, Jasper Ewalt, was born in Illinois and died in Lenox, Iowa about the time of his father's birth. I don't find a burial record for Jasper Ewalt - does anyone have information on this?
I [Pat O'Dell] find that Jasper Ewalt was on the 1880 census in Adams County, Iowa and that the family of Ford Ewalt was in Adams County until after 1925.
