  Hello Pat

In my research of the Williams family of Platteville, I have the answer to a
broken tombstone at Platteville.

Hattie Williams wife of [broken stone] was the wife of Isaac Williams who was
the son of Levi Williams and brother of S A Williams both buried in
Platteville. This information comes from Isaac's military pension records
which states that Hattie [Gee] Williams died in 1870 and was buried in
Platteville. Also a letter from Harvey Albert Williams, Isaac's brother,
states he went to Hattie's funeral in 1870. Harvet was a long time resident
of the Platteville area moving from there in 1907.

Sincerely

Linda Williams Treat
Special thanks to Linda for sharing this hard-to-find info!
