Having no relatives in the country, little is known concerning her early life or the date of her birth. Born in Cleveland, Ohio over 80 years ago, she married Dr Warren Kitchen and lived in New Market nearly 50 years. She was preceded in death by her husband and an adopted son, Harold, who died in 1917 at 14 years of age. -6
