Burt, Joseph Frank, died Oct 8, 1914, Fairview cem, Bedford - Note from a relative of Joseph Frank Burt: Joseph F. Burt had moved to Bedford from Rockford, Ill at which location he had operated the "Rockford House" for several years. The reason for the move was to help a son of his who was operating a power utility in Bedford, and was having financial difficulties. Mr. Burt's wife died and is buried in Rockford, Ill., as she did not go to Bedford with him. After his death, the other Burts in Bedford moved away, most of them going to Hutchison, Kansas.
