Hentges Brothers

Pictured are: Theodore, left, Nic and John Hentges. They immigrated from Bissen, Luxembourg. Nic and John were shoe and clothing store owners and businessmen in LeMars. Many of their descendents still live in LeMars. Theodore came to Sioux County in 1878. He was a farmer and married  Anna Kremer in Bissen. She died 2/27/1905. They are buried in St. Anthony's Cemetery, Hospers, IA. Theodore had several farms in Sioux and Lynn counties. His son, Charles, (1875-1863) also was a farmer and is pictured below with his new wife Mary (Wilwert) in 1905.
