 Independent School District of Grant, Sioux County, Iowa. March 11, 1895
Every district board was issued a big ledger book. This one starts with the minutes of the district board annual meeting at the time of voting of 1895. These teacher contracts of the Grant Township country schools are found in the center of that ledger book.
