We wish to thank the County papers for the liberal space given us through this and previous years, it is deeply appreciated. Larry Larson The four pupils making the highest scores in the County tests were Miss Jean Stoltenberg of District No. 3 Washingotn Twsp., Miss June Newman, Teacher. Mr. Orville Rehder District No. 8 Garfield Township. Mrs. Isabel Mauere, teacher. Norman VanderLee Grant No.7 Mrs. Mae Lamoureux, teacher. And Glenn Miller district No. 6 Garfield Twp. Miss Bertha VerWey, teacher. District No. 1 of Plato Township has the largest graduating class of any rural school with six pupils. No. 2 Eagle was the second with five pupils in the class. Mrs. Helen Williams is the teacher. County Superintendent: Tye handed out Diplomas to the students in Maurice, Newkirk, Hospers, and Orange City the past week. |
