From the Ireton Centennial Book 1892-1982;

Rev Schwenk, pastor of the Mt. Joy Church of God at the Highland Settlement, was also a teacher in a country school,  Eagle No. 1.  Rev. Elmer Schwenk was pastor there from 1902-July 1904.
