JOHN, ANNIE & MARTIN BEHRENDT

Shown above, John, Annie and Martin Behrendt with their horses, circa 1900-1910. John was born in 1885, Annie in 1883 and Martin in 1881. Another sister, Minnie, born in 1879, married John Schliemer and they had 8 children. Both Minnie and John died in 1936, just a few weeks apart, at ages 47 and 57. Neither Annie nor Martin ever married. They lived together all of their lives. Annie died in Shelby in 1981. Martin preceded here in 1970.
