BEHRENDT POOL HALL

The photo was taken inside John Behrendt's Pool Hall in Portsmouth, Iowa, and has been contributed by a descendant. John is seated second from the right, wearing the white straw hat. The other individuals in the photo are unknown. John was born in 1885, and the photo is estimated to have been taken circa 1905-1910. John left Iowa shortly after that, and by 1911 was running a hotel in Dale, Wisconsin. If you can help identify anyone else in the photo, please contact the Shelby County Coordinator.
