Michael R. Kimball, 42, 2409 Ave B. died Tuesday at St. Joseph Hospital in Omaha following bowel surgery. An autopsy was scheduled to determine exact cause of death.
Mr. Kimball was born in Omaha and graduated from North High School in 1971. He lived his entire life in the Omaha-Council Bluffs area. He worked for Campbell Soup Company in Omaha and IBP in Council Bluffs. He was an Army veteran.
He was a member of Holy Family Catholic Church.
Survivors include his wife, Norma (Heese) Kimball; one daughter, Monica, at home; two sons, Tony and Matt, both at home; parents, Charles and Virginia Kimball, of Omaha; one brother, Richard of Carter Lake; nieces; and nephews.
Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Friday at Meyer Funeral Home. Mass of Christian burial will be at 11 a.m. Friday at Holy Family Catholic Church. Burial will be in St. Joseph Cemetery.
Visitation with the family will be 7 to 9 tonight at the funeral home, with a wake service 8 p.m.
