NOTE: The bodies at the cemetery were moved to the Rosehill Cemetery in Kirkman. Slates Cemetery was originally located in Douglas Township in a wooded area on a farm.

My cousin & I were there before the Boy Scouts cleaned it up and only found 2 stones: Catherine HAYES and William MILLER. We contacted Phyllis Heller, who contacted Ray Anastasi. Photos were taken of the remaining stones: see Photos
