RAMSEY BROS.
Ramsey Bros., dealers in clothing, boots, shoes, and gents' furnishing goods; came to Harlan from Prairie City, Jasper county, Ia. The business was established in the spring of 1879, by Holdefer & Ramsey; the former sold his interest in Jan., 1882, to J. H. & J. W. Ramsey, who with their brother W. H. constitute the present firm. They carry an immense stock of goods, and do a flourishing business; store on north side of square. They have a branch house at Irwin, under the charge of J. W. Ramsey.
