The War For The Union
Comprised of 1,247 officers and men. Of this number, during the war, 64 were killed, 134 died, 330 were discharged, 268 were wounded, 14 were missing and 24 were captured. Mustered into service at Keokuk, May 1861.
Scott Co. was well represented in the Second Infantry, which was mustered into service for 3 years. The following comprises the names of those from Scott Co.
