This picture
is the property of Mrs. E. B. Long. It was taken back in 1911 and it
looks more like a good looking bunch of immigrants than anything else.
But here they are as Mrs. Long has identified them
Back row, left to right: Lola McGeorge, Grace Bidlack, Edna Kessller,
Mrs. Andrew Martin, Rose Bobzine, Nannette Long, Lillian Borst, Mildred
Mather, Mrs. Newell, and Supt. C. F. Garrett.
Front row, left to right: Mrs. Hoffman, Nelle Lyon, Lou Watson,
Gertrude Loufee Irwin, and Mrs. C. F. Garrett.
It is quite probable that the names given above are not the present
names of the teachers, as several have married since the picture was
taken.
It might have been taken when they arrived, or it might have been when
they were leaving on a Christmas vacation, but anyway, they were
teachers, many of whom have left a lasting impression on those who came
under their control. How many of them do you remember?
