Henry Herbert Tourgee Family

Henry Herbert Tourgee was born September 5, 1831 in West Williamsfield, Ohio. He married Mavline Morse June 28, 1866. She was born in 1839 and died February 10, 1870.   Henry married Alice E. Morse March 11, 1873. She was born in Cherry Valley, Ohio and died September 3,1915 in Ida Grove. Henry died November 1905 in Ida Grove, Iowa. He had 5 children.

      Mary E. Tourgee was born July 29, 1867. She married Amos H. Gray/Grey March 24,1887 in Ida Grove. He was born in Iowa about 1865 to Allen Gray and L.S. Gray and was a farmer. They were the parents of three children.

            Ada Pearl was born March 18, 1888 in Ida County, Iowa Ralph Herbert was born February 18,1890 in Ida County, Iowa Mary Almetta was born December 23, 1891 in Ida County, Iowa

      John Burney Tourgee was born October 30, 1875 in West Williams? Ohio and was an attorney. He died in 1945. He married Dora Bell Trumbauter January 1, 1906 in Sac City. She was born in 1882 in White City, Kansas to P.B. Trumbauter and Lovina Rust. She died in 1953. They had two children.

            B.   Alice was born in Holstein, Iowa. She married Durond Ross August 14,1933 in Sac City, Iowa. He was born in Hardwick, MN to Donald Ross and Maude Helen Wood. He was an office manager. Henry’s children from his second marriage are as follows.

      Carl Herbert Tourgee was born August 23, 1880 and died December 1969 in Estherville, Iowa. He married Florence Edna Judiesch July 24,1907 in Holstein, Iowa. She was born January 16, 1882 in Ida County. They had at least one child.
