Lyle (Jack) Whitmore, 50, died suddenly Monday morning. The funeral was Jan 24, with burial at Clearfield. He operated a filling station at Clearfield for many years. Surviving are his widow, Helen; one son Paul Roger, two daughters Lillion Ann and Barbara, all at home; also three brothers, Lester and Paul of Clearfield and Philip of Washington state, and a sister, Lois Whitmore of Clearfield.

Funeral services were held in the Methodist church Thursday for Lyle (Jack) Whitmore, 50. Rev Howard Ball, Rev Kenneth Dailcy and Rev Ronald Graham, jointly conducted the last rites. Survivors include his wife, Helen, one son, Paul Roger and two daughters, Lillian Ann and Barbara. Among those who also mourn his passing are 3 brothers, Lester and Paul of Clearfield and Phillip of Washington and a sister, Lois Whitmore of Clearfield. Burial was in the Clearfield cemetery. Funeral arrangements were in charge at the Crew Funeral Home.
