The Ringgold Record, 1887

--DIED: Ernest S., son of Joseph and Emma WYCOFF (sic), May 14, at 8 P. M., of heart disease. The deceased was 18 years, 5 months and 7 days. old. He was well respected by all who knew him. Funeral services were held at his fathers's residence, and conducted by E. E. WILLEY. A large number followed him to his last resting place in the narrow vault.

NOTE: Ernest S. WYCKOFF died on May 14, 1887 and was interred at Tedrow Cemetery near Kellerton, Ringgold County, Iowa.

Ernest's father Joseph WYCKOFF was born September 12, 1841, and died December 2, 1917. His mother Emma A. (?) WYCKOFF was born November 11, 1864, and died on July 8, 1907. They were interred at Tedrow Cemetery.
