Mary "Kay" WION, 69, fought cancer for over 14 years, all of the time staying positive and living life to the fullest. Kay died September 25, 2011 with her family by herside.

Kay, daughter of Richard and Jean KINSEY, was born June 14, 1942. She grew up in Cedar Rapids, Iowa with her little sister, Barb. While attending college she met Garry WION (formerly of Beaconsfield, Iowa). The two were married in August 1963. While living in Newton, Iowa, they raised three children, Bill, Garry and Eric.

After retiring in 1995, they moved to "The Lake" in northern Minnesota. Kay enjoyed living on the lake and spending time with family. She especially enjoyed her two grandchildren, Nicolas and Jordan.

Kay is survived by her husband, Garry; son, Bill GOODMAN and his wife, Julie; son, Eric WION and his wife, Debbie; son, Garry GOODMAN; two grandchildren, Nicolas and Jordan; sister, Barb JANSSEN, and a large extended family.

Per her request, no service will be held.
