OBITUARY - DOUGLAS LYNN SWIGART
Douglas Lynn SWIGART, 43, of Holiday, Fla., formerly of Des Moines, died June 25, 2005 at Helen Ellis Memorial Hospital in
Tarpon Springs, Fla.
A memorial service will be 10 a.m. Saturday, July 23, at Wilson-Watson and Armstrong Funeral Home, 205 W. Monroe St., Mount
Ayr. The Rev. Matthew NOVOTNY will officiate. Interment will be in Rose Hill Cemetery at Mount Ayr. The body was cremated.
The family will receive friends one hour before the service at the funeral home. Memorials may be directed to the family.
Mr. SWIGART, son of Sharon (REYNOLDS) and Dennis SWIGART, was born January 11, 1962, in Des Moines. He worked for Meredith
Corp. and 3-E in Des Moines and worked in auto sales in Florida.
Survivors include four sons, Justin and Blake SWIGART of Des Moines, and Austin and Jesse SWIGART of Grimes; fiancee
Sharon RUTH of Holiday, Fla.; parents Dennis and Sharon SWIGART of Des Moines; brother Darvin (wife Deane) SWIGART of
Lawrenceville, Ga.; sister Shellie (husband Gary) BROWN of Des Moines; and grandmother Waitstill REYNOLDS of Mount Ayr.

OBITUARY ~ DOUGLAS LYNN "DOUG" SWIGART
Douglas Lynn SWIGART, 43, went to be with the Lord on June 25, 2005 at Hellen Ellis Memorial Hospital in Tarpon Springs,
Florida. Doug was a life-time native of Des Moines, Iowa, and moved to Holiday, Florida, where he lived for the past 18
Doug could always be known by his phrase, "Have you hugged your Doug today?" He enjoyed watching the Miami
Dolphins and fishing. He worked for Meredith Corporation, 3-E and in auto sales.
He is survived by his four sons, Justin
and Blake of Des Moines, Iowa, and Austin and Jesse of Grimes, Iowa; fiancee, Sharon RUTH of Holiday, Florida; parents,
Dennis and Sharon SWIGART of Des Moines, Iowa; brother, Darvin (Deanne) SWIGART of Lawrenceville, Georiga; sister, Shellie
(Gary) BROWN of Des Moines, Iowa; his grandmother, Waitstill REYNOLDS of Mount Ayr, Iowa; two nephews and three nieces.
Memorial services will be 10 .m. Saturday, July 23, 2005 at Wilson-Watson & Armstrong Funeral Home in Mount Ayr with Rev.
Matthew NOVOTNY officiating. Burial of the cremains will be in the Rose Hill Cemetery. The family will be present one
hour before the services. Memorials can be made to the family.
