Mount Ayr, Ringgold County, Iowa

Graveside services will be held this afternoon, Thursday, at 2 p.m. at Rose Hill Cemetery in Mount Ayr for Ruth Amelia SHIEL (sic) of Osceola, who died Monday at Clarke county hospital in Osceola.

Mrs. SHEIL was born Feb. 28, 1911, in Mount Ayr, the daughter of John and Henrietta CASE FERBER. She attended Ringgold county schools and had one year at Simpson college [Indianola, Iowa].

Survivors include a sister, Mrs. Mary DRAKE of Mount Ayr; a daughter, Mrs. Valee HALVERSEN of Osceola; and a son, John Patrick SHEIL of Omaha.

Services in Osceola are this morning at 11 a.m. at St. Bernard's Catholic church [Osceola] with Webster-Kale funeral home [Osceola] in charge of arrangements.
