Harvey Byron REED, son of Dr. and Mrs. D. W. [David William and Bertha Mevlina (SNYDER) REED, was born May 25th, 1897 in Mercer, Missouri, and passed away June 2nd 1946, at the Good Samaritan Hospital at Phoenix, Arizona, after a prolonged illness.

He spent his early life in Clearfield, Iowa.

He was united in marriage, June 1st 1923 to Margaret ARCHBOLD of Tingley, living in Des Moines until 1937, when they moved to Hollywood, California.

He was preceded in death by his father and youngest sister Willa Marie HALE.

He leaves to mourn his passing his wife, Margaret of California, his mother Bertha REED, two sisters, Agnes CLARK and Veva Wilcox, one brother, D. W. REED all of Phoenix, Arizona, and a sister, Ava KLINE of Tingley, and a host of other relatives and friends.

Funeral services were held at Edwards Funeral home at Tingley on Friday, June 7th, at 2:00 o'clock with A. R. WEED officiating. Burial in Clearfield Cemetery.
