OBITUARY ~ DAVID NICKLE

David Nickle was born in Wapello county, Iowa, October 28, 1851, and died at his home in Bedford, February 9, 1932, aged 80 years, 4 months, and 1 day.
He came to Ringgold county when a small boy and lived in the Maloy neighborhood until 1868, coming then to the community southeast of Clearfield .
He was married about 1881 to Miss Belle Clark. In 1903 the family moved, to Bedford where they have resided ever since, his wife having preceded him in death several years ago, since which time he and his daughter Cecil have continued to reside there.
He is survived by two daughters, Miss Cecil Nickle and Mrs. Maymie Cunning, and one son Reed Nickle, of Clearfield; one brother, Elmer Nickle, of Clearfield; one sister, Mrs. Charity Grimm of Enid, Oklahoma; 9 grandchildren and eight great grandchildren.
Funeral services were held on Thursday afternoon, February 11 at the home in Bedford. Rev. L. C. Harris of the Christian church was in charge, and interment was in the Clearfield cemetery.
