Earl REYNOLDS, Jr. was born August 11, 1924 at St. Joseph, MO to Earl T. & Opal (POTTROFF) REYNOLDS. Junior, as he
was known, served his country in the U.S. Army during World War II. On November 23, 1946, he married Fern CORLL in Troy,
KS.
Junior died July 9, 2007 at the Ringgold County Hospital in Mount Ayr.
Junior was preceded in death by his parents; his wife Fern on November 9, 1993; 5 brothers-in-law and 2 sisters-in-law.
Survivors include his siblings Olive DAVIS of Mount Ayr, Marvin REYNOLDS & friend Sheryl of Sedalia, MO, Mildred (Paul)
DRAKE of Mount Ayr, Lila (Jim) OVERHOLTZER of Mount Ayr, Lou (Steve) CHURCH of Lee's Summitt, MO, and Betty (Cecil)
Davenport of Mount Ayr; sisters-in-law Lola TERWILLIGER & Nola (Wilbur) LANDPHAIR and a brother-in-law Lester CORLL,
all of Mount Ayr; nieces, nephews, and a host of friends.
Services were held Thursday, July 12, 2007 at 10:00 a.m. from First Christian Church of Mount Ayr, Iowa. [Interment at Maple Row Cemetery, Kellerton, Ringgold County, Iowa.]

Earl REYNOLDS Jr., son of Opal (POTTROFF) and Earl T. REYNOLDS, was born Aug. 11, 1924, in St. Joseph, Mo. On Nov. 23,
1946, Junior married Fern CORLL in Troy, Kan. Junior owned and operated Skelly gas station in Mount Ayr in the 1950s and
1960s. He sold the station and operated a tire business. Later, he served as clerk of court in Ringgold County 10 years,
then state auditor of courthouses. The past several years, Junior bought and sold antiques, tractors and trailers. He was
a member of the First Christian Church and American Legion Post No. 172, both in Mount Ayr. He served in the U.S. Army
during World War II.
Junior died July 9, 2007 at the Ringgold County Hospital in Mt Ayr.
