OBITUARY ~ HARRY REES, Jr.

Harry REES, Jr., eldest son of Harry and Lucille REES, was born in Chamberlin, South Dakota, December 21, 1934,
and passed away at Lakeville, Minnesota on July 23, 1987. He moved with his family to Mount Ayr, Iowa in 1943, where he
attended school, graduating in 1952 from the Mount Ayr High School. He entered service in January, 1955, and
served in Korea during the Korean Conflict. After service he attended Northwest Missouri State University. In later years,
he attended night classes at Bellevue College, Bellevue, Nebraska, earning his Bachelor of Science Degree in Business
Management in 1971. He and Virginia FRAZEE were united in marriage on February 24, 1962, and to this union was born one
daughter, Sherry Renae, whom he loved dearly. He worked as manager for Wilson Concrete at Red Oak until they moved
the Red Oak office to Omaha. At the time of his death, he was employed by Werner Enterprises of Omaha, Nebraska.
He is survived by his wife of 25 years, Virginia; daughter, Sherry; brother, Larry REES and wife, Florence; sisters, Norma
Creveling and husband, Kenneth and Glea ANDREWS and husband, Kenneth; nieces, nephews, and a host of friends and other
relatives. He was dearly loved as beloved husband, father, brother and uncle. Services and Masonic rites were held at Nelson-Boylan
Funearl Chapel in Red Oak on July 28, 1987, with interment in the Evergreen Cemetery at Red Oak.
