William PARKHURST, 82, of Clearfield, passed away Friday, Jan. 15, 1988, at Bergan-Mercy Hospital in Omaha.

He was born June 21, 1905, near Clearfield, the son of John and Melissa (BLACKMAN) PARKHURST. On Aug. 15, 1936, he married Reva NEVILL in Creston. She preceded him in death in 1986.

Mr. PARKHURST was a retired mechanic and truck driver working in Estherville and Adell. Upon retiring, he moved to Lenox and spent the last 11 years in Clearfield.

He is survived by a sister, Mae (Mrs. Gerald) KING of Colo.

Funeral services were held Sunday afternoon at the Clearfield United Methodist Church with the Rev. Shirley LOCKARD officiating. Burial was at the Clearfield Cemetery.

Memorials may be directed to the United Methodist Church in Clearfield.
