OBITUARY - IVAN NELSON, Clearfield
CLEARFIELD - Ivan NELSON, 83, of Clearfield died Thursday morning, May 25, 1989 at the Clearview Nursing Home in
Mount Ayr. Services will be 1:30 p.m. Saturday at the First Christian Church in Clerafield. The Rev. Shirley
LOCKARD will officiate the services with burial in the Clearfield Cemetery. The Wilson-Watson Funeral Home in
Clearfield has charge of arrangements. Memorials may be directed to the First Christian Church in Clearfield or the
American Cancer Society. Mr. NELSON was born Sept. 15, 1905, in Gravity to Orville and Olive (BAKER) NELSON. He
married Madge WORTHINGTON March 8, 1930, in Clearfield and she preceded him in death in October 1977. He was a
retired farmer and a lifetime resident of the Clearfield community. He was a member of the First Christian
Church, Clearfield. Survivors include a brother, Horace NELSON of Clearfield; and three sisters-in-law, Mildred
SAVILLE of Mount Ayr, Gail ROTHMEYER of Wausatosa, Wis., and Jena (Mrs. Forrest) HARVEY of Lenox.
