William A. Marcum, 50, of Clearfield died May 1, 2001, at the Ringgold County
Hospital in Mount Ayr.
He was cremated with private burial in the Clearfield Cemetery, The
Wilson-Watson and Armstrong Funeral Home in Clearfield
had charge of arrangements.
He was born June 13, 1950, in Des Moines, Iowa to Glenn A. and Mary Ann
(Tammburo) Marcum. He graduated from Lincoln High School in Des Moines in
1968. On June 13, 1980, he married Robin L. Dawson in Des Moines. He worked at
Kraft
(Trolli, Inc.) in Creston. He lived in Des Moines prior to moving to
Clearfield 5 years ago.
Survivors include his wife, Robin Marcum of Clearfield; two daughters, Jeana
(husband Juan) Cruz and Cassie Marcum, both of
Clearfield; two brothers, Ernest Marcum of Des Moines, and Robert Marcum of
Prairie City; a sister-in-law, Roxanne, (husband Kenneth) Werner of Clearfield
and one grandchild.
He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Glenn Marcum.
