Ringgold Record, 1884

--Joshua MILLKIN (sic, should be MILLIKIN) died last Tuesday morning from the effects of an overdose of chloral. He was a sympathetic, kind-hearted Irishman. We believe he never became a citizen of the United States, although he had lived here a good many years. He had no relatives in this country, except his brother James who lives at Eugene. He was buried at three o'clock of the same day, and the services were conducted by Rev. J. H. TEDFORD at the residence of John DOWLING.
