-- James McKAHAN, living in the Joseph WOOD property, died Wednesday [March], the 13th. He had lived in Washington township, and came to town lately to care for his health. His funeral took place from the Chrisitan church on Thursday at 2 p. m.

NOTE: James McKAHNAN was born March 2nd 1827, and was interred at Rose Hill Cemetery, Mount Ayr, Ringgold County, Iowa.
