The Mount Ayr Record-News, 1882

--Died - March 22d, Boyd MAGILL (sic), third son of Saml. R. MAGILL (sic), aged 4 years. Boyd was a very bright promising boy. His disease cut him off suddenly, having been seriously ill only a few hours. In this affliction, his parents have the sympathy of a large circle of friends. Let them take comfort in the promise: Isa. 40:11: "He shall gather the lambs with his arms, and carry them in his bossom."

NOTE: Surname is McGILL. J. Boyd McGill was interred at Oak Ridge Cemetery near Mount Ayr.
