OBITUARY - CONNIE LYNNE (QUICK) LYNCH

Connie Lynne LYNCH departed from this life on January 13, 1996, in Iowa Methodist Medical Center in Des Moines, Iowa after battling cancer for a long 15 months.

She was born on August 26, 1949 to Harold and June QUICK. She was later joined by a sister, Debra Anne and a brother, Donald Dean. She attended grade schools in Redding and Maloy and attended high school in Mount Ayr.

She lived in Redding all of her life except for two years in Wisconsin in her early childhood.

Connie was united in marriage to Michael Douglas LYNCH on August 17, 1965. In 1980, Mike and Connie adopted Amanda Jo and in 1982 were joined by Molly Anne. They were her pride and joy.

Connie was involved in music most of her life. Over the years, she had many bands and band members. She also worked side by side with Mike in their farming and hog operation.

She was preceeded in death by her brother Donnie in 1963, her mother June in 1987, and her grandparents Carl and Fern QUICK and Jacob WETTER.

She is survived by her husband, Mike, daughters, Amanda and Molly, father and step-mother, Harold and Karen QUICK of Lineville, Iowa; sister, Debbie and brother-in-law Jim TULL of Redding; step-brothers, Mike GRAHAM and family of Chariton, Iowa; and Mark GRAHAM of Alberta, Canada; mother and father-in-law, Bill and Lavetta LYNCH; grandmother, Gertrude WETTER of Boscobel, Wisconsin, numerous relatives and friends.

Services were held at the United Methodist Church in Mount Ayr, Iowa on January 16, 1996. Officiating was Rev. Michael DRUHL. Organist was Mrs. Gregg CANNON. Vocalists were Ron and Don ROSS.
