OBITUARY ~ TIMOTHY JAMES "TIM" HERSEY
May 02 , 1957 ~ April 07, 1992

Moravia, Iowa
April 15, 1992

Timothy J. Hersey, 34, of Moravia died Tuesday, April 7, 1992, at his home in Moravia.

Services were Saturday at the Open Bible Church in Albia, the Rev. Mike Johnson officiating. Burial was in Fairview - Main Station Cemetery.

He was born May 2, 1957, in Manchester to Rev. Thomas Doane and Elizabeth Ruth Cass Hersey. He married Anna Paddick in 1985. He had lived in Moravia the past 25 years, was a member of the Open Bible Church in Albia and served on Church board of elders. He had been employed by Rollscreen of Pella and later by Armbruster Inc.,of Miami, Fla. He had served with the U. S. Navy.

He is survived by a daughter, Cora Elizabeth Hersey; a son, Thomas Richard, both of Humeston; his parents of Moravia; four brothers, Thomas of Corydon, Jonathan of Albuquerque, N.M., Stephen of Oskaloosa, and Samuel with the U.S. Army in Korea; and a sister, Sara Gardner of Albuquerque, N.M.

Gilbert Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements.

NOTE: Tim attended Grand Valley Community School when his father was pastor of the Kellerton United Methodist Church.
