DOROTHY MARIE (RECHTENBACH) ENGLAND
Mrs. Walter England, Clearfield farm wife, died at Mercer hospital early Tuesday. She had been in a critical condition since she suffered gunshot wounds at her home April 27.
Ringgold County officials reported that Mr. England had taken the gun outside to fire at dogs which were chasing the sheep. When he came in to reload, the gun discharged and Mrs. England was struck in the back.
Survivors include her husband, three children, Karen, Gerald and Donny, all of the home; her mother, Mrs. Minnie Rechtenback of Creston, sisters and a brother.
Funeral services were May 8 at Clearfield.
