OBITUARY - MEDA (STUCK) GRINDSTAFF

Meda GRINDSTAFF, 94, of Mount Ayr died June 26, 2006, at Ringgold County Hospital in Mount Ayr.
Services will be 10:30 a.m. Friday, June 30, at Wilson-Watson and Armstrong Funeral Home, 205 W. Montgomery St., Mount Ayr.
The Rev. Edward SHIELDS will officiate the service. Burial will be in Rose Hill Cemetery at Mount Ayr. There is open
visitation after 10 a.m. Thursday with the family receiving friends 7 to 8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home in Mount Ayr.
Memorials may be directed to Mount Ayr Assembly of God Church.
Mrs. Grindstaff, daughter of Fannie L. (PEPPARD) and Lincoln Jacob STUCK, was born October 18, 1911, near Mount Ayr. She
graduated from Mount Ayr High School in 1929. On Nov. 16, 1929, she married William Lester GRINDSTAFF in Creston. She
worked as a waitress at Shamrock Cafe. She was a member of Mount Ayr Assembly of God Church.
Survivors include a son, Nelson Dean (wife Ann) GRINDSTAFF of Lansing, Kan.; two daughters, Sherry (husband Kenneth)
HEBENSPERGER of Mount Ayr and Beatrice SCROGGIE of Blockton; daughter-in-law Linda GRINDSTAFF of Clearfield; sister-in-law
Lula STUCK of Mount Ayr; 10 grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren and a great-great-granddaughter.
She was preceded in death by her husband; son Rolland; grandson Arlen Joe SCROGGIE; son-in-law Charles SCROGGIE; two
brothers, Noel and John STUCK; three sisters, Jennie WHITE, Florence JARMAN and Ina STUCK; two half brothers, Ray and Roy
STUCK; and half sister Lois STUCK.
