OBITUARY - FAIRY "ZELINE" (DEFENBAUGH) GEIGER
Fairy Zeline GEIGER, 96, of Lodi, died August 13. She was born Fairy Zeline Defenbaugh on March 8, 1910, in Redding, Iowa.
Mrs. GEIGER attended school in Redding, Iowa and graduated from Northwest State University in Marysville, Mo. in 1934.
She married Vance GEIGER in 1936 and they resided on a farm. She was employed as a substitute teacher at Mount Ayr, and was
the first activity director of Clearview Nursing Home. She moved to Lodi in 1990 to be near her cousins.
She is survived by many cousins.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 52 years, Vance GEIGER.
A funeral will be held on August 22 at the First Christian Church in Mount Ayr, Iowa.
Lodi Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

OBITUARY - ZELINE (DEFENBAUGH) GEIGER
Zeline GEIGER, 96, of Lodi, Calif., formerly of Redding, died August 13, 2006, in Lodi, Calif.
Services will be 10 a.m. Tuesday, August 22, at First Christian Church in Mount Ayr. The Rev. John BRILLO will officiate.
Burial will be in Redding Cemetery. Open visitation will be noon to 8 p.m. Monday at Wilson-Watson Armstrong Funeral Home,
205 W. Monroe St., Mount Ayr. Memorials may be directed to First Christian Church or Mount Ayr Community Schools.
Zeline GEIGER, daughter of Dora (MILLER) and Bert DEFENBAUGH, was born March 8, 1910 in Redding. On June 30, 1936 she
married Vance GEIGER in Albany, Mo. She was a school teacher and lived on a farm near Redding, until moving to Lodi,
Calif. in 1990. Zeline was a member of Mount Ayr First Christian Church.
Survivors include her cousins.
She was preceded in death by her parents and husband on November 1, 1988.
