OBITUARY ~ DERMA JEAN (KELLER) CAMPBELL

Derma Jean Keller was born January 14, 1930 to Glenn and Opal Waddell Keller
at Tingley, Iowa. She was the fourth of eight children.
While Jean was growing up she and her family lived in Diagonal, Kellerton, and
Shannon City, Iowa.
On April 16, 1953 she was united in marriage to Dale Martin Campbell in Des
Moines, Iowa. To this union was born seven children.
During Jean's life she and her family lived in Mount Ayr, Iowa; Clearfield,
Iowa; Wyoming, Nebraska and even in British Columbia, Canada.
Jean was preceded in death by her father Glenn, mother Opal, infant brother
Glenn, brother Donald and her father-in-law Joe Campbell. Left to mourn her
memory are her husband Dale of Clearfield, Iowa; children Jody Turnhull and
husband Steve of Alpina, Arkansas; Jack Campbell and wife Cindy of Clearfield,
Iowa; Jerry Campbell of El Paso,
Texas; Jill Breach and husband Roger of Sharpsburg. Iowa; Jimmy Campbell of
Des Moines, Iowa; Joey Campbell of Clearfield, Iowa; Jay Campbell and wife
Teresa of Maryville, Missouri and step-daughter, Beverly Safe and husband Joe
of
Denver. Colorado, mother-in-law Bertha Campbell of Clearfield, Iowa; four
sisters, one brother, nine sisters-in-law, seven brothers-in-law, 4
grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren and a host of other relatives, friends
and neighbors.
She had a positive attitude to end of her battle with cancer and departed this
life on June 13, 1997 at Clearview Home,
Clearfield, Iowa at the age of 67 years.
Funeral services were held Monday, June 16, 1997 at 2:00 p.m. at the
Sharpsburg Presbyterian Church with the Rev. Tim Mara officiating.
Music was provided by Linda Spring, Beverly Bender and Rev. Tim Maxa.
Casketbearcrs were Dean Brown, Steve Basler, Max Fletchall, Lonny Baker,
Gordon Still, Danny Adair, Marvin Shrimpton, and Brent Hinshaw. Honorary
pallbearers were Don Donaldson, Darrell Stephens, Todd Jackson, Larry Brammer,
John Pirtle, Dannie Kinder, Tom Chebuhar, and Harold Spring. A memorial has
been established in Jean's name.
Interment was in the Clearfield Cemetery. Wilson-Watson and Armstrong Funeral
Home was in charge of the arrangements.
