Stella DEWEESE of Clearfield died at the home of her brother, Archie DEWEESE, Aug. 23 at the age of 77 years. Some weeks ago Miss DEWEESE broke her hip and was in General hospital, Des Moines, for several weeks, but was able to be brought to the home of her brother. Two weeks ago she suffered a heart attack.

She is survived by two sisters, Mrs. Dollie PINE, Mount Ayr; Mrs. Lucy SAYLOR of Conway and one brother, Archie DEWEESE, Clearfield. Funeral services were held Saturday, Aug. 25, at the Christian church in Clearfield. Burial was in Benton cemetery.
