OBITUARY - GLADYS M. (STUCK) JOHNSTON
Gladys M. JOHNSTON, 108, of Mount Ayr died December 24, 2004, at Ringgold County Hospital in Mount Ayr.
Services will be 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, December. 29, at Wilson-Watson and Armstrong Funeral Home, 205 W. Monroe St., Mount
Ayr. The Rev. Susan THOMAS will officiate the service. Burial will be in Rose Hill Cemetery at Mount Ayr. There is open
visitation with the family receiving friends 7 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home in Mount Ayr. Memorials may be directed
to the United Methodist Church in Mount Ayr.
Mrs. JOHNSTON, daughter of Ella (BURNESON) and Pete STUCK, was born June 19, 1896, in Mount Ayr. In 1919, she married
Delmar JOHNSTON. She was a homemaker.
Survivors include a son-in-law, Wayne RICHARDSON of Wheat Ridge, Colo.; two grandchildren, Alan (wife Joy) RICHARDSON of
Highland Ranch, Colo., and Sharon (husband Dan) WINTER of Wheat Ridge, Colo.; and great-grandson Pvt. Ryan RICHARDSON
serving in the U.S. Army.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; daughter Arlene RICHARDSON; two brothers, Everett and Bernison (S. B.)
STUCK; and sister Dorothy RHOADES.
