R[obert]. F. ASKREN, of Mt. Ayr, died a few days since at his home in that city. He had lived in Mt. Ayr near 40 years and was a useful and well-known man. He had filled several county offices including superintendent, auditor and county attorney. He was about seventy years of age.

 NOTE: Robert was interred at Rose Hill Cemetery,Mount Ayr.
