Born June 28, 1926 in Delphos, Iowa to Ernest and Hazel CAVENDER, Eva ACIETUNO passed peacefully on June 6, 2011.

Eva is survived by her husband of over 65 years, Manuel, and three children, Mike (Sherry) & Tom (Carol) ACEITUNO and Chris (Jim) PHELAN. 'Granny' is survived by grandchildren, Zack (Lydia), Shannon, Kevin, Kasey, Camille and Jason, and great-grandsons, Zackary & Kevin.

Eva was an active member of the West Sacramento Chapter of Soroptimist International and the Women's Guild of Our Lady of Grace Church. A quintessential grandmother, Eva loved nothing more than caring for her grandchildren.

Recitation of the Rosary will be Friday, June 10, 2011 at 7:00pm at River Cities Funeral Chapel, 910 Soule St., West Sac. A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered Saturday, June 11, 2011 at 11:00am at Our Lady of Grace, 911 Park Blvd., West Sacramento. Private inurnment, Sacramento Valley VA National Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorials preferred to the American Heart Association.
