DEATH of Mrs. HARRY ABRAMS

Mrs. Harry ABRAMS, a resident of Ringgold county for fifty-eight years, died at her
home in Mount Ayr early Tuesday morning, after being confined to her bed for seven
weeks, suffering from leakage of the heart. Mrs. ABRAMS' maiden name was Emma A. HARROLD,
daughter of Elisha and Lavinia HARROLD. She was born in Randolph county, Indiana, May 3,
1852, and was at the time of her death 74 years, nine months and 16 days of age. She moved with
her parents to Ringgold county early in the year 1871 and was united in marriage to
Harry ABRAMS at Mount Ayr, November 3, 1879. They lived their entire married life in
and around Mount Ayr. Mrs. ABRAMS is survived by her husband, one brother, O. O. HARROLD, of Mount Ayr;
two sisters, Mrs. Eunice L. HAMMOND, of Roseburg, Ore., who was with her sister during
her last illness, and Mrs. Ella SCRIBNER, of Larnard, Kan. Funeral service will be
held at the Methodist church this (Thursday) afternoon at two o'clock, conducted by
Rev. E. S. MENOHER. NOTE: Harry L. ABRAMS was born in 1857 and died September 10, 1934. He was
interred at Rose Hill, Mount Ayr, Iowa, beside his wife Emma A.
