PVT. CLYDE RUSSELL WOODS
Clyde Russell WOODS, born November 10, 1894 in Diagonal, and a single farmer from Knowlton, Iowa,
enlisted for service on June 5, 1917, during World War I with the U.S. Army at Camp Dodge, Des Moines, Iowa. Pvt. WOODS was assigned to
Company D. Division [illegible] BN No. 1. He died at the age of 22 years
on November 2, 1918, Camp Dodge. He was interred at Diagonal Cemetery, Ringgold County, Iowa.
