Poweshiek County, Iowa
3 Apr 2009 - did a "roll call" of surname volunteers who are available to be emailed.
I only heard back from two people in three weeks, a handful of surnames. I kept a copy of all, and then removed the others.
01 Apr 2009 - transcribed 1915 Iowa State Censuses :
It should be noted that some of these "townships" are really misfiled cards. In other words, there might only be a 3 entries, but the card numbers are 168, 169, 170, which tells you that they got separated from their *real* township, or even their real county 100 miles away. I spent whatever time it took to track down their real township, town, and/or county. Until Steve converts these, please view the Excel files as they have the detailed research on the 2nd 'worksheet' (or ask for webpage format: puzzlepieces at thetao.cc).

Regarding these transcriptions:
I have been transcribing the information as it appears. Those that are hard to read I have researched and made notes of alternate names. I have found a few lost souls (white cards) that have been misfiled - such as, one from Pottawattamie County, and one from Pocahontas County. I am letting Steve from the Census transcription project convert these Excel files into his gorgeous text file format (I'll bet you did not know that a text file could be 'gorgeous', did you? : ), but, in the meantime, am converting them to text files so they may be SEARCHED right away (ie: Google, Alta Vista). The advantage of the Excel format is that they have an additional "worksheet" (tab) that contains valuable research notes on those cards that were misfiled.
