Beck, William H. – served as a Private in Company F, 23rd New York Infantry, enlisted May16, 1861 at age 18 for two years. He was born 1841 in Pennsylvania and died July2, 1911 at Lake Manawa, Iowa. Buried in Fairview Cemetery, Council Bluffs, Iowa.

Bray, Theodore – served in Company I, in Harris Light Cavalry, 2nd Regiment, New York Cavalry, enlisted Apr14, 1861 and served 4 years, mustered out at Washington, D. C., twice taken as prisoner. He is also listed as serving as a Private in Company B, 27th New Jersey Infantry. Born Feb 19, 1841 in New Jersey, wife, Jacyntha A. Allen, mother, Eliza J. Struble, children, Charles W. Bray & Nettie A. Bray.

Cavin, Thomas E. – served as a Private in Company K, 146th Illinois Infantry, mustered in Sep 17, 1864, mustered out July 8, 1865. Joined Osborn GAR Post #407 Feb 4, 1886.

Clark, Thomas J. – served as a First Lieutenant in Company I, 2nd Illinois Cavalry, enlisted Mar18,1863, resigned as 2nd Lieutenant Feb 24, 1865. He was born Mar 25, 1837, died Dec 7, 1899 and buried in Fairview Cemetery, Council Bluffs.

Coffeen, Henry – served as a Private in the 1st Iowa Battery of Light Artery.  At age 18, he enlisted Jan 4, 1864.   

Cook, Andrew J. – served as a Private in Company E, 37th Indiana Infantry, mustered in Oct20, 1861, transferred to Veteran’s Reserve Corp July 30, 1864. He was born Aug 24, 1841 in Decatur County, Indiana and died Aug 12, 1913 in Council Bluffs, Iowa.

Cousins, Levi B. – served as a Private in Company B, 41st Ohio Infantry, enlisting Aug 18, 1861 at age18 and discharged for disability Mar 9, 1862.  He reenlisted Jan 3, 1864 at age 21 as a Private in Company E, 38th Ohio Infantry for three years. He mustered out July 12, 1865 by order of the War Department.

Foster, Solomon H. – served as a Private in Company B, 28th Wisconsin Infantry, enlisted Aug 15, 1862 and mustered out Aug 23, 1865.  He died Apr 11, 1911 at the Iowa Soldier’s Home in Marshalltown, Iowa and buried in Fairview Cemetery, Council Bluffs.

Fox, John – served as a Corporal in Company H, 6th Iowa Infantry. He enlisted as a veteran, age 43, on July 12, 1861, 4th Corporal.  He was promoted to 1st Corporal Dec 10, 1861, mustered out July 21, 1865 at Louisville, Kentucky.

Green, John – served as a Captain in Company B, 4th Ohio Infantry.  He enlisted at age 27 as a 1st Lieutenand on June 4, 1861 for three years, transferred to Field and Staff Nov 1, 1861, promoted Captain June11, 1862 and assigned to Company A, appointed Assistant Adjutant General Apr 24, 1863, and assigned to Brigade General, Mason’s Staff on Apr 24,1863. He was born Oct 10, 1831 in Chesterville, Ohio and died Sep25, 1905 in Council Bluffs, Iowa.

Harrington, George E. – served as a Private in Company C, 5th Massachusetts Infantry. He enlisted July 16, 1864 and mustered out Nov 16, 1864.  He was born in 1847 and died Dec 28, 1912 as the Iowa Soldier’s Home in Mashalltown, Iowa.

Hart, Henry Watts – served as a surgeon in the 38th Iowa Infantry as well as Field and Staff in the 9th Iowa Infantry. He was appointed Surgeon on Sep 10, 1862 and mustered out Jan 1, 1865. He was born Oct 14, 1818 in Chenango County, New York, died Feb 12, 1891 in Council Bluffs, Iowa, buried in Walnut Hill Cemetery, Council Bluffs, Iowa.

Hight, Bradbury Wallace – served as a Captain in Company C, 2nd Vermont Infantry. He enlisted as a Corporal in Company K on May 20, 1861, transferred to Company C and promoted to 2nd Lieutenant Mar 17, 1863, promoted Sergeant Major Feb 22, 1862, and mustered out June 29, 1864.  He was born July 1, 1842 in Albany, Vermont, died Feb 10, 1918, and buried in Fairview Cemetery, Council Bluffs, Iowa.

Holmes, Edward F. – served as a Private in Company F, 5th Kansas Cavalry, enlisted July 12, 1861 and mustered out Apr 29, 1865.  He was born May 5, 1841 in Indiana and died May 31, 1893 in Council Bluffs, Iowa.

Hubbard, Charles G. – served as a Private in Company K, 3rd New Jersey Infantry, mustered in Apr 27, 1861 for three months, mustered out July 31, 1861.  He was born 1836 in New Jersey and died Oct 26, 1916 in Council Bluffs, Iowa.

Hubbard, Rollin Corbett – served in Company D, 2nd Michigan Infantry, enlisted at age 19 on Apr 20, 1861, promoted to Corporal July 25, 1861 and discharge Aug 24, 1861 on account of being a minor. He enlisted Aug12, 1862 and served as a Sergeant in Company A, 116th New York Infantry. He was born June 26, 1842, died Mar 16, 1907 in Des Moines, Iowa, buried in Woodland Cemetery. He was a Judge and editor of the Council Bluffs Nonpareil newspaper.

Keatley, John H. – served as 1st Lieutenant in Company E, 104th Pennsylvania Infantry, mustered in Feb 24, 1865, mustered out Aug 25, 1865.

Metcalf, George E. – served as a Private in Company I, 7th Ohio Infantry.  He enlisted at age 20 on Dec 17, 1861 for three years, transferred to Company B, 5th Ohio Volunteer Infantry on Oct 31, 1861, discharged on expiration of term of service. He was born Sep 30, 1841 in Geauga County, Ohio, died Aug 1894 in Council Bluffs, Iowa, and buried in Walnut Hill Cemetery, Council Bluffs.

Moore, Martin A. – served as a Captain in Company H, 9th Iowa Infantry at age 37, appointed Captain on Sep 24, 1861, resigned Mar 7, 1863.  He was born in 1824 in Connecticut and died Aug 3, 1893.

Rhodabeck, Jesse C. – served as a Captain in Company H, 18th Iowa Infantry. He enlisted July 7, 1862 as 5th Sergeant, promoted Sergeant Major Aug 6, 1862, then 2nd Lieutenant Dec 18, 1862.  He was promoted to 1st Lieutenant Jan 22, 1863, to Captain June 6, 1863 and was discharged Jan 28, 1865.  He was born in Pennsylvania, died July 30, 1905, and was buried in Woodland Cemetery, Des Moines, Iowa.

Rogers, Jacob H. – served as a Private in Company C, 2nd Nebraska Cavalry.  He died May 12, 1909 and buried in Fairview Cemetery, Council Bluffs, Iowa.

Russell, Levi S. – served as a Private in Company I, 11th Massachusetts Infantry and as Captain in Company F, 11th Massachusetts Infantry. He enlisted June 13,1861, residence Lynnfield, MA., occupation, shoemaker. He was promoted to 1st Sergeant, wounded at Bull Run, Virginia on Aug 29, 1862. He was promoted to 2nd Lieutenant Oct 28, 1862, then 1st Lieutenant May 4, 1863, and mustered out June 24, 1864.

Weaver, John F. – served as a Corporal in Company H, 21st Pennsylvania Cavalry, enlisted Feb 12, 1864, promoted to Corporal Jan 28, 1865, and mustered out with his Company, July 8, 1865.

White, Marvin – served as a Private in Company K, 27th Iowa Infantry.  At age 21 he enlisted from Mitchell County, Iowa on Aug 12, 1862 and mustered out May 16, 1865 at Davenport, Iowa.  He was born Aug 10, 1841 in Erie County, Pennsylvania, died June 25, 1899 in Council Bluffs and was buried in Fairview Cemetery, Council Bluffs.
