Russell and wife, of Des Moines, Iowa, arrived to visit their daughter, Mrs. L. McLean, and attend their granddaughter's, Nellie, graduation.” Dr. Russell was married 3 times.  He moved from Indiana (Crawfordsville?) to Des Moines after his 2nd marriage. Jennie Elizabeth Russell was probably born by his 2nd wife, Emma Hollister Lewis Anderson McLean (05 May 1843 - Abt. 03 Jan 1916) married Jennie Elizabeth Russell (06 Sep 1845 - Abt. 10 May 1927) on 12  May 1864 in Champaign-Urbana, Champaign Co, IL

I'm trying to find out the exact names of the family who adopted them. Sickels, my mothers cousin , lives in Iowa  Buried in Brown Cemetery is the Hooks. My grandfather was born in Edgewood, Iowa. In Edgewood and Bolsinger cemetery are Sickels. If you go on find a grave.com Hazel has put all there photos dates etc, but still puzzling who the Sickels were, what relation, as later someone had married into the Sickels family. If any info I'd appreciate it.
