I am looking for information about Dr. Edward WATSON. Family legend says he was born in NY City in August, 1868. His parents, William WATSON and Elizabeth MYRE were German immigrants. They moved briefly to Ohio from New York and then to "Des Moines", Iowa. We don't know which Des Moines. William was supposed to be the first tanner in the area. We think Edward attended high school in Des Moines and know that he graduated from Drake Univ. with a medical degree. After practicing medicine in Des Moines for about 2 years, he went back to school at the University of Michigan and finally moved west to Washington state ultimately settling in North Bend, Oregon. We can find no tangible records or his early years or of his parents. We are especially interested in any brothers or sisters he may have had. Does anyone know anthing about this family? Thanks.
