Officer Dies Making Arrest

Detective Arcas Brunnemer fell dead of heart failure while waiting to escort Dr. O. H. P. Shoemaker to a waiting automobile in front of the residence of the latter, 2226 Cottage Grove avenue.  Dr. Shoemaker was placed under arrest by Brunnemer and Detective McKircher on a charge of perfoming a criminal operation upon Stella Thorne, a Simpson co-ed and conniving with Edna Morris, 721 Sixth avenue, to urn the body of the infant in a furnace at this address.
