~ Lois writes, "It is signed by Antoinette Cook, teacher, and G. Countryman, County Superintendent. It is dated April 14, 1909. This school was in Remsen Township Section 15 on the southwest corner. My grandfather Rudolph Lang's farm was only 1/2 mile north in Section 16. The teacher, Antoinette Cook, was my mother's step-sister."
