OBITUARY

Martin, Lula Flossie Waddle - Lula Flossie Waddle was born in Holt county, Mo., Feb 19, 1884, and passed away at her home in this city March 14, 1934, at the age of 50 years and 23 days. She was married to Nathan C. Martin Nov 29, 1900. To this union seven children were born, two dying in infancy.

She united with the Christian church in Forest City, Mo., in early girlhood and later moved her membership to the Methodist church in this city, where she remained a true member until her death.

She leaves to mourn her departure her husband, four sons and one daughter, Orace and Randolph at home. Earl of this city, Orville of Ashland, nebr., and Laura (Mrs Clark Neal) of Merriman, Nebr.; also seven grandchildren, one brother S.A. Waddle of Craig, Mo., two sisters, Mrs Henry Vandiver of Forbes, Mo., and Mrs Grant Leach of Forest City, Mo., besides other relatives and a host of friends.

She was a member of the Rebekah lodge of this city.

The funeral services were conducted by Rev W.H. Meredith at the Walker Funeral Home last Saturday afternoon at 2 o'clock. Burial was in the Clarinda cemetery.

Lula Flossie Waddle

Lula Flossie Waddle was born on 19 Feb 1884 in Forrest City, Holt County, MO as the fourth child of Giles Montgomery Waddle and Henrietta H. Kirkpatrick. She had seven siblings, namely: Leucine, Jennie Eathel, Elmer Thomas, Etta May, William H., Samuel A., and Lida Ellen. She died on 14 Mar 1934 in Clarinda, Page County, Iowa. When she was 16, She married Nathan Columbus Martin,son of Benjamin Martin and Ema Adella Lorean Cotora, on 29 Nov 1900 in Forrest City, Holt County, Missouri.

Lula Flossie Waddle was buried in Clarinda cemetery, Clarinda, Page County, Iowa. Her cause of death was Heart Attack.

Nathan Columbus Martin and Lula Flossie Waddle had the following children:

1. Lenarad Earl Martin was born on 08 Nov 1901 in Forrest City, Holt County Missouri. He died on 30 May 1972 in Hutchinson, , Kansas. He married Hazel Dell Casey on 26 Jun 1921 in Hutchinson, , Kansas.
2. Laura Belle Martin was born on 07 Mar 1905 in Forest City,Holt Co., MO. She died on 10 Aug 1987 in Keokuk, , Iowa. She married Clark Neal on 21 Oct 1927 in Merryman, , Nebraska.
3. Orville Eugene Martin was born on 28 Apr 1908 in Forest City, Holt Co., MO. He died on 25 Aug 1952 in CA. He married Ella Valentine Smith on 08 Jun 1930 in Asland, , NE.
4. Orace Ira Martin was born on 14 Jan 1911 in Forest City, Holt County, Missouri. He died on 22 Jan 2003 in Hidden Lake Care Center, Raytown, Jackson County, Missouri. He married Mary Eleanor Wilson on 14 Sep 1946 in Mission, Shawnee, Kansas, USA.
5. Lawrance Edward Martin was born in 1914 in Clarinda, Page County, Iowa. He died in 1918 in Clarinda, Page County, Iowa.
6. Ernest Owen Martin was born on 27 Aug 1913 in Clarinda, Page County, Iowa. He died on 23 Dec 1913 in Forrest City, Holt County, MO.
7. William Randolph Martin was born on 05 Apr 1925 in Clarinda, Page County, Iowa. He died on 28 Apr 2002 in Santa Clarita, LA County, CA. He married Mrtha Jane Beatty on 21 Feb 1947 in Monmouth, Warren County, Illinois.

Lawrance Edward Martin

Lawrance Edward Martin was born in 1914 in Clarinda, Page County, Iowa as the fifth child of Nathan Columbus Martin and Lula Flossie Waddle. He had six siblings, namely: Lenarad Earl, Laura Belle, Orville Eugene, Orace Ira, Ernest Owen, and William Randolph. He died in 1918 in Clarinda, Page County, Iowa.

His cause of death was Convolutions. He was buried in 1918 in Clarinda, Iowa.
